I built Tendo because I was frustrated with generic training plans that never adapted. I wanted a coach that actually listened — one that adjusted when life got in the way, and that got smarter the more I trained. So I built one.

Over the past months, I've iterated on Tendo with feedback from elite endurance athletes in my network here in Copenhagen — marathoners, triathletes, Hyrox competitors. Their input shaped everything from how the plan adapts to how feedback is delivered. Now I'm opening it up in beta.

Questions you might have

How is this different from Runna or TrainingPeaks?

Those are great tools, but they give you a static plan in a separate app. Tendo lives in your existing chat app, adapts conversationally when things change, and gives you automatic feedback after every session via Strava — no manual logging. It's been tested and refined with feedback from elite endurance athletes, not built in a vacuum.

Is my Strava data safe?

Yes. Tendo uses read-only access to your Strava activities — it can see your workouts but can never modify or delete anything. Your data is only used to personalise your coaching. Read our privacy policy for full details.

What happens when beta ends?

We'll launch paid plans, but anyone who joins during beta locks in 50% off for life as a founding member. No credit card is needed to start — you'll only be asked to pay when (and if) we launch paid tiers.

Does this actually work or is it just ChatGPT?

Tendo is purpose-built for athletic coaching. It uses a structured training model under the hood — not a generic prompt wrapper. It maintains your training history, understands periodisation, reads your Strava data automatically, and adapts your plan based on real performance. The system was shaped by months of iteration with competitive athletes who gave candid feedback on what worked and what didn't.

What sports and levels does it support?

Currently: running, triathlon, Hyrox, cycling, and strength training. Tendo works whether you're a complete beginner building your first 5K plan or an experienced athlete targeting a specific time. The plan complexity scales with your level and goals.
